Seal 'n' Paint is a high quality waterproof and paint service that offers home owners with plaster style homes a simple waterproofing and maintenance solution that is fast, effective, trusted and affordable.
How it works
Texture repairs and gapping
Cracking is a common problem on monolithic buildings where the different substrates move and the plasters are sufficiently flexible. This isn't necessarily a moisture problem but it could develop into one. These cracks are cut and filled with a waterproof hybrid MS polymer mastic caulking which has over 500% elongation. The existing surface is re-textured to match in.
Watertight protective membrane
The protective flexible membrane holds the textured cladding together. It is permeable, very flexible but doesn't allow moisture inside. This is effectively wrapping the home in protective from the elements.
Elastomeric coatings
We then apply two coats of elastomeric coatings, in the colour you have chosen. The elastomeric coatings have been designed to work with the underlayer protective membrane coat, they area permeable and flexible as the membrane beneath them.
